Visiting Siam Park in Tenerife

Siam Park, in Tenerife, is one of the top water parks in the world. With its Thai-inspired theme, it offers a wide variety of attractions for everyone.

You can enjoy laid-back family activities or go all in with adrenaline-packed rides. Plus, there are shops, restaurants and plenty of places inside the park to make your day truly unforgettable.

With 21 different attractions, I’d definitely recommend booking in advance and planning your visit ahead of time.

General Information

Siam Park is not only one of the best water parks in the world, it’s also one of the top things to do in Tenerife. Located in Costa Adeje, in the south of the island, this water park is packed with activities and attractions perfect for a full day out.

The park has a Thai theme, just as the name suggests, since Thailand used to be called Siam before changing its name in the first half of the 20th century.

Its rides are full of thrills and adrenaline that’ll definitely leave a lasting impression — highlights include the Mekong and Patong Rapids, The Dragon, and the Tower of Power, a 10-metre free-fall slide.

There are also more chilled-out options, like the Mai Thai River, the Floating Market and Siam Beach. And if you’re visiting with family, there are loads of attractions to enjoy together, like The Wave Palace, the Bodhi Trail and The Lost City.

From the Sawasdee water slides for the little ones to the Jungle Snake — a twisty slide through a tropical forest — Siam Park has rides for all ages. Another standout is The Volcano, where you slide in complete darkness before dropping into the heart of the volcano.

On top of all the adrenaline-pumping rides and relaxing areas, Siam Park also has a gift shop, a Thai-style floating market, and a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes.

Siam Park Opening Hours 2025

Summer hours: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Winter hours: 10:00am to 5:00pm

As you’d expect from a holiday destination like Tenerife, Siam Park is open all year round. The water temperature in the pools is kept at a lovely 24°C no matter the month.

In winter, the park closes an hour earlier than during the spring and summer. From 1st May to 31st October, it’s open from 10:00am to 6:00pm. During winter, from 1st November to 30th April, it still opens at 10:00am but closes at 5:00pm.

Best Days and Times to Visit

Which day of the week is Siam Park the quietest?

Sunday tends to be the quietest day at Siam Park, although in peak season it can be busy every day. In winter, it’s usually much more peaceful. If you’ve got the time and don’t mind an early start, try to arrive just before the gates open. That way, you’ll be among the first inside and can head straight to the rides that usually have the longest queues.

Siam Park Night Opening Hours 2025

• Every night in July and August
• From 8:00pm to midnight, for ages 16 and up only.

When is Siam Park open at night?

From Tuesday to Saturday during July and August, you can enjoy “Siam Night” in addition to the usual daytime hours. These special nights are just for visitors aged 16 and over, and the park opens from 8:00pm to midnight.

At “Siam Night”, you can enjoy all the attractions without the long queues. It’s a completely different experience walking through the park under the moonlight, with live music from a DJ setting the vibe.

How much is Siam Night entry?

Tickets for “Siam Night” cost the same as a regular daytime ticket. So if you don’t want to miss out, keep an eye on their website during the summer months.

Siam Park Tickets

There are several ways to get tickets for Siam Park. Besides the standard tickets, you can also buy combo tickets for both Siam Park and Loro Parque, or go for an annual pass. Some tickets even let you enter through a special entrance, and you can add the “fast track” option to skip the queues.

What’s included in a Siam Park ticket?

No matter which ticket you choose, Siam Park entry includes use of the park’s sun loungers and parasols, as well as the life jackets and floats needed for certain attractions. You’ll also find free WiFi across the park.

Adding the “fast pass” option can really come in handy, especially during peak season when queue times can go well over an hour.

Here’s a breakdown of the different ticket options. Some even include entry to Loro Parque zoo in Tenerife, plus bus transfers directly to the park.

Types of Tickets

Advance Ticket to Siam Park

Buying your ticket in advance guarantees your entry to the park and also helps you skip the queues. And if your plans change, no worries — you can cancel up to 24 hours before and get a full refund.

This one-day ticket for Siam Park can be printed or shown directly on your phone, and includes entry through an exclusive entrance.

The current prices are €42 for adults and €30 for children aged 3 to 11. Children under 2 go free. There are also options that include a locker, towel and meal, or even an all-inclusive ticket.

Changed your plans? No problem. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Confirmation is instant and you can use the ticket straight from your phone.

What to Take to Siam Park

Here’s a handy list of things you shouldn’t forget for your day at Siam Park:

  • Water. You can buy it inside the park, but it’s important to stay hydrated, especially on hot days. Bring enough to get you through the morning at least.
  • Sunscreen. With the Tenerife sun, this is a must. You can get it in the park, but it’s best to apply it about 30 minutes before sun exposure.
  • Swimsuit or bikini. Definitely the ideal outfit for a day at Siam Park.
  • Water shoes. Flip-flops aren’t allowed on the rides, so your best bet is to go barefoot or wear water shoes. The park’s floating market sells them too, but if you’ve got a pair at home, don’t forget to pack them. They’ll also make walking around more comfortable, as the ground can get hot and is quite hard. You can wear flip-flops while strolling through the park, but you’ll need to leave them in designated spots before going on a ride.
  • Towel. Bring a beach towel for each person — handy for drying off or lounging in the sun.
  • Extra clothes. If you’re visiting in the cooler months, you might want something to throw on between rides. A T-shirt or lightweight sweatshirt should do the trick.
  • Cash. Useful for small purchases like drinks, snacks or souvenirs. There are lockers at the park, but it’s best to leave jewellery and valuables at home. If you’re not bringing your phone (which is unlikely!), make sure to print your ticket, as you’ll need it to get in.
  • GoPro strap. If you’re planning to bring a GoPro, remember you’ll need a strap to wear it on your chest or head. That way, you can safely take it with you on the rides.

You Might Also Want to Bring:

  • Goggles. Not the best idea for the fast rides, but perfect for the more relaxing areas.
  • Child’s life jacket. The park has them available, but some kids might feel more comfortable using their own.
  • Sun hat. Especially handy for protecting little ones from the sun.
  • Sunglasses. A must for shielding your eyes from the strong Tenerife sun.
  • Hair ties. If you’ve got long hair, it’s safer (and more comfortable) to tie it back for the rides.
  • Plastic bag. To carry your wet swimsuit at the end of the day.
  • Waterproof phone case.
  • Change of clothes.

Helpful Tips

Here are a few handy tips to help you make the most of your day at Siam Park:

  • Pick up a Siam Park map. Grab a map at the entrance when you arrive. It’ll help you find your way around and make the most of your time. You’ll also spot maps posted around the park.
  • Rent a towel. If you forget yours or it gets soaked, you can rent one for about €3 at the park.
  • Rent a locker. If you don’t want to carry things like your phone, cash or keys while you’re on the rides, lockers are available to rent. There are two sizes depending on how much you’ve got and whether you’re sharing:
    • Small locker: around €3.
    • Large locker: around €5.

You’ll also need to leave a €5 deposit for the locker key, which you’ll get back when you return it.
